[SCCC] SoCal DX Spotting Nodes?

The RF DXclusters blocked RBN when they were operating. Our work club does not have Telnet access through the firewall so used them a lot when they were operating. W6KK and K6SY were the last two I know of in the LA area on RF. Both had equipment failures and never got the RF side going again. K6SY Telnet going again. I communicated with them a lot and got another year or two out of Charles which I appreciated. We even had a relay at a member's house nearby at one time since signal was not strong but he did point his antenna our way later. Queen Mary and the San Pedro Marine stations used to use also. But, usually that was all.

Just curious—with the firehose of RBN spots, are 2m-based clusters still feasible, or are there bandwidth problems?
