[SCCC] VHF Antenna Switch

A gentleman north of us here in California is experiencing failed antenna
switches when running 1.5 kW with 50% duty cycle on 2 meters, albeit 60
seconds at a time (IE Q65 mode). Calls to the regular ham radio shops say
the best switch is an Alpha Delta but he experiences failures on their
Delta-4 too. The surge protector is not the issue. 

 

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there better switches out there? He
uses N connectors.
