Comments:

I was busy catching up on a long backlog of home IT challenges, but 
decided that I couldn't just skip the contest completely. When I had 
checked on Friday evening, the solar flux, SSN, and the A/K indices 
seemed ideal for a 160 meter contest, so I didn't have high 
expectations. It seems, however, that I stumbled into a really good 
opening to the Midwest and East Coast quite by chance on Sunday morning 
when I finally jumped in. It lasted a good hour and then seemed to dry 
up as if someone flipped a switch and turned the band off. I decided 
that was my cue to jumped back into the IT stuff. Short, but sweet.
