 Even 200 miles to our east (N2IC) and 300 miles west (WA6TQT) things can really make a big difference. As an example: Axel has had a great 15m where Steve was shut out completely and Dan was average.
You never know what each weekend will bring is what we are finding... but what generally has been holding true is that Steve will have more EU, TQT will have more Asia, and ND7K will get the blend.
It's a great thing to have more western stations banging it out again!
