I'm a little late doing my post-contest homework. The wife spent much of
the daylight hours this weekend weed-whacking outside the shack and I took
that as a not-so-subtle message ;-)

This went well and I'm starting to settle in at the station here. I have a
few things which still aren't working quite right, but I'm slowly winning.

I still credit the NCCC on 3830 since I'm from the Bay Area, but I realized
that I'm in the SCCC circles for both the ARRL and CQ tests, so I've
changed my log submissions to the SCCC.

I had a great time this weekend, but I'm still beat - I changed up my usual
off hours to benefit from the low-band point bump, and it hurts the sleep
schedule. But, the results were favorable.

Sunday is always a problem for me in terms of attention span and
psychology, but it was the far better day this year - Asia ran long, and I
was still working EU on Sunday afternoon at 2200Z when I couldn't take it
any longer and swing the stack to AS so I didn't miss any last minute JAs.

I spent too much time on the online contest scoreboard thing stalking RRN,
but I hope he takes that as a compliment - I was leery of the online
scoreboard, but have found it a great tool for keeping myself challenged
and aggressive by chasing Axel and other excellent ops. I'm relatively new
to contesting and miss my first multi-op experiences and all the lessons
learned there. I'm hoping to be able to run decent MS and M2 ops out of
here as the Covid thing finishes up.
