[SCCC] SCCC Digest, Vol 221, Issue 17

The closest I've ever come to working or even hearing VU2 was when I 
heard P49Y respond to a call from VU2GMH on 20m this weekend; I was 
actually able to copy VU2GMH's QSO number. You could feel P49Y's 
astonishment at being called by him. IIRC, this was also about the 
same hour I heard TC3T call someone for the first time ever. Both 
times, I quickly found a clear spot a few kHz away and began calling 
CQ, but to no avail.

I once worked VU4NR way back in the late '60s on 40m but never got 
his QSL, nor did I ever determine for sure he was Slim.
