To any prospective buyer of a generator:

I too have a Honda EU2000i. Very happy with it. Have had it about 5 years
or so.
You really must run it once a month, preferably under a 1 kw load (work
lights), keep the fuel fresh with Stabil.
Keep extra fuel on hand and change the oil about once a year. I rotate in
fresh fuel every year after Field Day, and put the unused gas in my car.
There are some excellent YouTube videos on simple maintenance of the Honda
EU200i.

I do those things. Yes, it's a pain but it gives me comfort knowing I have
emergency power. Just make a recurring event in Google Calendar for the
first of every month. :)
