The VHF contest begins at 1800z (11 AM) this Saturday. I plan to rove in our local 4 grids (DM03, 04, 13 and 14) on Saturday.
On Sunday I am going to drive to my favorite Jack In the Box at the Grapevine exit for DM04, and then 1 hour further north to
Kettleman City where 4 grids converge.

I will be on the 4 low bands - 6m, 2m, 222 (FM only) and 440. My preference would be SSB contacts, around 50.130 on 6m,
144.200 on 2 and 432.1. 2m (146.52, .55, .58) and 440 FM (446.0) Only 20 of my 250 QSOs were FT8 last year, so if you want
to work me, try SSB, FM or even CW.

Lets get a good start with SSB and FM at during the first hour, and if you don't get on during the weekend, lets get a
rally going the last hour from 7-8 PM Sunday night.

I hope to have have APRS turned on, so you can track me on www.aprs.fi<http://www.aprs.fi>. Had some trouble with this on my new phone, though.

Hope to see you on the air! Even just a QSO or 2 through the day helps! Check the bands during the college football or NFL halftimes
With your help last year, I finished in 4th place in Limited Rover. I could not have done it without you. Thanks!
Tnx & 73,

Tim N6GP/R
