Saw this on the Moon Bounce reflector today. Bruce was an active SCCC
member long ago.

Hello EMers
I have just learned from Joel Harrison W5ZN that he saw a posting on the
passing of Bruce Clark K0YW in the “The Weekly DX” published Dec 5th by
Bernie W3UR
Silent Key
K0YW, Robert B. “Bruce” Clark, ex-K6JYO, passed away
November 27 th in Durango, Colorado. He was 80 years old. In
earlier years, K6JYO was active in moonbounce operating. He
made the first US to Africa EME QSO, from the WA6LET
station at Stanford University’s research site. On the other end
was ZE1DX (callsigns now ZS6CCY and C91CCY)
Bruce was part of the original Eimac EME group out of California operating
WA6LET at the 150 ft dish Stanford dish. I remember working him as WB5LUA
on 432 EME back in the late 70s. He was a great friend and attended many of
our conferences especially Central States.
I am sure others out there have similar great memories of Bruce.
Bruce went out to Hawaii in April 2007 to provide me KH6 for my 1296 W.A.S.
He also activated KH6 on 2304 MHz.
Bruce was a truly great man and friend and will be missed.
73
Al W5LUA
