Lots of fun in this one. My first 10M contest, conditions were awesome. I
almost never hit a doldrum of no new stations to work during the daylight
hours, and even made some surprise contacts after dark here when I checked
in on Friday evening. I bit the bullet and put myself out there to call CQ
on CW for the first time ever, and felt like I was mostly successful
despite mangling a few exchanges. Thanks to anyone who worked me at
13-15WPM and gave corrections/slowed down. My goal was to top 100k of
Friday, then Saturday it became 150k, and Sunday 200k. Final score recorded
was 209,338. Chasing the online scoreboard was a blast and after going to
bed in 50's Saturday night and waking to 68th after sleeping in a bit, was
able to climb back up into the top 50 during the last half hour of the
test. XV1X and VR2XAN were nice surprise multipliers during the final 7 (!)
minutes of the test, as well as AL1G on Phone which gave me a new mult in
