Sounds like someone's trying to resurrect the old HSMS meteor scatter
contest that used to occur back in the '90s, and was sponsored by the
Western States Weak Signal Society. Unfortunately, I won't be able to
participate this year as I won't have a station set up by then. Besides,
I doubt anyone still works HSMS, nor that Timor, 9A2GV's, software will
work on Winders 10. I still have all the cables to run my old TS-9130
(which I also still have) with the 4CX300 amplifier and external preamp
(neither of which I have now, however).
