Hi David,
We had a couple of semi openings down here, one on Saturday and one or two
on Sunday. They were both weak. The Saturday opening was in that first hour
or so. Unfortunately, at 30 mins in, I had to QRT to take the XYL out for
her birthday lunch at a nice place overlooking the water.
Anyway, I did log 40 stations and 25 mults here for 1,000 points SOLP all
digital. Monitored 146.52 FM but only heard one station, and he wasn't in
the contest. Condx on 6 were at least a bit better than the past two years
here so there is that.
What was your score and category? I'll pop it up on the web site.
73, Dennis NE6I

I'm surprised there are no contest reports here yet.
I was on Cerro Noroeste Saturday with a K3 and square loop at 10'.
In the first hour I worked a few EM12 and various DM/DN stations plus close
in DM grids.
Thirteen QSOs in total.
N6MI was LOUD line of sight on Frazier Mountain.
On Sunday from home I worked a handful of stations with the same setup,
minus the elevation, on Es plus a few locals.
>From the DXMaps MUF and QSO maps things were crazy in the eastern half of
the country.
It looks like some Pacific coast stations got into EU on the digital modes.
73,
David N6AN
