Previously I was just inside the area, right on the edge. Now I am
fully in the circle as well as some western Arizonia towns such as
Bullhead City, Kingman. and Lake Havasu. Yuma AZ is right on the edge
of the circle.

I regularly enter contests and always show SCCC as my club.

Subject: [SCCC] Expanded SCCC Club Area

The ARRL recently updated its rules for defining a club's area used to
determine what members are eligible to contribute their scores to the
Affiliated Club Competition. The previous 175-mile radius has been
replaced with a 250-mile radius. As a result the SCCC has updated its
club center to grid square DM15bd, which results in a club area
covering a greater portion of southern California and Nevada. This new
area will be used for both ARRL- and CQ- related club competitions and
can be seen on socalcontestclub.org by clicking on the "Club
Territory" link.
