It was very windy today so going to a summit was not attractive, and time was short. But I did want to hand out a few Qs. I set up along the mighty Los Angeles river concrete channel in Studio City half a block west of the KCBS/KCAL TV studio where I once worked. A KX3 running 5 watts fed a 44' doublet made of CAT5e single twisted pair supported by a 19' collapsible fishing pole. Starting at 00Z on Sunday afternoon local, I was surprised to find 15 empty save WH7Z. All my other contacts were on 20. Thanks for pulling my pipsqueak signal out. 72, David N6AN
