FT-450D barefoot with a G5RV Junior at about 15 ft. above ground
I started off calling CQ and had my best run of the contest. The rest was a
mix of calling and S&P. I was avoiding California stations during S&P to
concentrate on mults. Only 39 states/provinces plus Slovakia. Hawaii was
conspicuously missing. That's usually pretty easy. 10 meters was the best
band early on. Lots of Oceania contest stations at the upper part of the
band and I avoided them. 20 meters and 40 meters turned on my lawn
sprinklers.
