[SCCC] WTB: Alfa-Spid Controller

Before I give Martin Jue another few hundred from my hard-earned 
retirement stash... Anybody have a controller for a Alfa Spid RAK-1 rotator?

And while I'm at it... how about user experiences with the Alfa Spid 
controllers and rotors, especially the RAK-1?

It would seem to me as if building a controller using a PIC or Raspberry 
Pi or something like that would be very easy; but not being a digital 
guy, I have no real idea. Has anybody looked into making rotor 
controllers with those circuits?
