I operated from four SOTA summits during the contest. Friday evening and Sunday were from local Flint Peak W6/CT-225 with a half square antenna. Saturday I was in the Apple Valley area on W6/SD-053, SD-181 and SD-186 using a 17' doublet. About 5 hours of hiking in total. The view out the "windows" was spectacular. KX3 @5 watts, hand sent, logged on a non-contest phone app,then transcribed,I'm sure with errors. Apologies for all the dupes. Best DX heard was 7Q, but unobtainium. Oh, to have a bit more gain. One of these days I will build a portable Moxon. Fantastic to hear both modes humming (hamming?) with activity!
