[SCCC] Remote AC Power Switch?

I think Dana's suggestion on the device from Digital Loggers
would prolly be a better choice for most folks for a variety
of reasons, but just out of habit I use ancient
APC MasterSwitch AP9211 Power Control Units.

I've run oodles of them for in my datacenter for literally
decades, and I think I've had precisely 1 hard-fail on me.

They usta show up on eBay all the time -- dunno if they still
do.

There are two things to know about them, though. First, they
run hot -- my cats love sleeping on them. I presume this
means they are unnecessarily power-hungry.

And the embedded AP9606 Web/SNMP cards have an annoying little
plug-in widget that is a combined quartz crystal and lithium
battery -- and those batteries eventually wear out. Last time
I looked replacements were cheap from the usual parts houses,
but you have to know that that's a replaceable unit that *has*
to be replaced every decade or so or you can wind up with
the device manifesting some extremely annoying behaviors.

Oh, a good thing about the AP9211 devices is that they are
natively rack mountable, if you're using standard racks.
