Below is Peter's email to my local club about his and Woody's frequency plan:
"I plan to operate as n6ze/r from Stunt Rd in Santa Monica Mts (DM04qb) from 1100-1300pdt on Sat 03aug.
Woodie, WA6WDY, will join me on
223.5fm/222.1usb
446.0fm/432.1usb
927.5fm etc
1294.5fm/1296.1usb
Verr & horiz ants"
Does SCCC have a chat group or something more "real time" and less obtrusive than email that we can use to discuss frequencies and spots during the contest? Maybe a Groups.IO chatroom or a Slack/Discord channel? I'll be operating on 446.5 and 223.4
Also of note that weekend, the general interest club I'm in is doing an activation of Anacapa Island this weekend (Sat and Sun). For those interested, the call is AA6CV and they'll be operating from around 11am to 3pm both days. It's a park, islands on the air, and it will be lighthouses weekend as well. The intended frequency is 14.290 +/- 15khz They'll also be operating FM from the boat on the way there and back. Around 145mhz +/- from 930-1030 and 11-3.
