Comments:
Worst cndx to the east coast I've ever experienced, until after sunrise on the
east coast. Then the QRN suddenly died down, and the band began expanding out to
the west. By west coast sunrise, I was hearing JAs, KL7SB, and RT0F but they
were all in the AA test so I didn't bother them.
As an aside, best DX: VE3PN, who was somehow in there and copiable for several hours even though no other midwestern or east coasters were. K1LT in EM89 and N4XD in FM05 were other notable easily-copiable signals from the east. Heard N0TT very early, pretty strong, but he didn't seem to be hearing much; he kept CQing in my face; never heard him again after about 04Z. Heard and called N4GO, along with W6AYC, but he kept fading out until he was gone. I could tell VE3MGY was in there but he never got strong enough to copy. I'd run my batteries down to 15% State-Of-Charge by sunrise when I shut down; I strongly suspect I'm fast losing battery storage capacity.
