I worked two 1-watt JAs on 40m during the CW whingding, and a half a
dozen or so 5-watters! It hasn't just been the higher bands that have
been great.
But it seems to me that we actually had better conditions a year ago,
when even 10m was open overnight for almost two weeks??
Thinking back to prior sun spot cycles, I seem to remember another one
around the early to mid '70s, IIRC, where 10m was open to Europe at
least part of the early morning hours for a couple weeks.
I'm hoping-against-hope that tonight, at long last (since this is their
last-last day), H40WA will FINALLY show up on 160m CW for North America.
As far as I know, they never have, yet; they always go do that ft-thing.
