Clayton,

You could try this instead:

# A NF1R 72 XXX

Change 72 to your year first licensed and change the XXX to your ARRL
section. (Not sure why # is not sending the QSO number though. It should.

Subject: [SCCC] N1MM questions for SS CW

Hi all,
I have a few questions about setting up N1MM for the SS CW. I spent two
hours yesterday afternoon following advice on online forums setting up my
TS590SG for the contest and getting about 60% of the way there.

1) I have my winkey set up and working but it is not sending {EXCH}
correctly. Instead of # Q AA6FD 16 SB it just sends Q 16 SB. I appear to
have everything set up just like in the examples. Any tricks to getting it
to send the full exchange correctly?

2) I have gotten the rig hooked up on my USB COM4 port. When it is working
at 9600 baud, I can control the rig's frequency but I am not reading the
frequency from the rig. The COM4 connection also drops out after a few
seconds of transmitting--I don't think it's RFI driven because I dialed my
power down to QRP class and the problem persists.

Thanks for your help. I'd love to hand out a few more QSOs from the SB
section before the weekend is out!
