Comments:

I stayed in Uruguay traveling to Montevideo after CQWW CW contest meeting my
XYL there, and then returned to Jorge's station for this contest. I was
planning to operate mixed mode but only made up my mind about unlimited vs
unassisted night before the contest and I'm glad I chose unlimited, it was
lot of fun to chase those multiplier spots. My only issue was periodic
quite loud powerline noise from EU direction and some troubles we had with
aircon at the shack but everything else worked fine at the station. It was
relaxing contest with nice multi-hour nap during both nights, no other
breaks from radio.
I tried to work CW as much as possible since 2x points points vs SSB really
made difference how fast score was developing. On 2nd day I did work almost
as much SSB as CW.

It was fun to work my friend Fred NP2X right at the point when I passed his
record of 3.7M and I had 5 more hours contest left.

After having done 10 m single band operation now 3 times from CX I like that
I'm getting familiar with it. Hardest part of the world from here always
seems to be VK/ZL and in this contest I only worked 1 VK station from there.

Surprisingly good activity from JA, nearly 400 Qs in this contest (vs.
almost
600 in WW CW).

I want to again thank Jorge for the opportunity and good time here in
Uruguay.
This was probably the last contest for me of very busy 2025 contest year.

Tnx for QSOs, merry XMAS, 73 de Marko N5ZO
