Heard several Europeans Friday night on 160 but none on Saturday except the CR3s (Africa). In fact, for several hours early Saturday night, I could only hear ZF5T and K3LR, and then only weakly, plus a very weak N4XD. Fortunately, the band recovered within several hours for the Asians. T48K needs new hearing aid batteries; I'll send them a few, maybe 8-) I suspect they were stuck with a European beverage, so couldn't hear most of us calling from the west. Thought I'd miscopied WH7T's call at first when NH7T was spotted; fortunately, though, WH7T was sending a different power abbreviation from NH7T, so I could be certain which I'd worked, when 8-) Heard and called AH2R Sunday morning but he could not hear me. The JAs spotted V73WW several times but I never heard him. An extremely strong JH8YOH CQed until he was blue in the face, but he could'nt hear either me nor N9RV. I CQed about 1140Z Sunday morn and to my wonderment, VK6GO came back. Found VK6T soon afterward but never heard VL2A nor any ZLs, YBs, BYs or KL7s on 160 (worked KI6RRN/KL7 on 10m Friday, tho!). Wait till I get the Alpha running again, with the new, upcoming shortened 160 tower. I only op'd a couple hours on 10m Friday afternoon to work a couple of interesting countries.
