My A3S has been very intermittent with ahigh SWR. After 10m faded out I put some power into the A3S and the SWR wasaround 1.5 on both 15 and 20. I was having great fun with good conditions andgetting good responses. When 20 faded I put some power into my 40-2CD which isnested at 8 feet above the desert floor. Unbelievably I was making contacts allover the US. I quit after 7.5 hours because I had told my wife that I was onlygoing to be on the air for a couple hours. It has been awhile since I operatedthe NAQP. I am sorry I have missed it. One lowlight. The shack was at 50Fwhen I started. I started a small space heater and got the temperature up to62F by the end. Without an amplifier to heat the shack, it was pretty cold. Iended up with a nasty cold on Sunday.Kurt W6PH Posted using 3830 Score Submittal Forms at: http://www.3830scores.com/
