40-2CD at 60 feet with 80m sloper below it
I started on 15 and had a 101 first hour.  15 continued to be a great band
for
me followed by 40 meters.  I had a neighbor kid help me raise my 40-2CD
AB-577
on Thursday and it worked great.  Sunday was a slug.  I had one 30/hr and
the
rest around 25/hr.  I did run across the VO2AC pileup on 15.  It was too
unruly
to even try despite VO2AC doing a great job.  In past SS I have always had
a VO1
answer a CQ.  Not this year.  VY1CO did a great job proving TER.  The only
US
section with one contact was NNY (Tnx WW2Y)  I had multiple calls from ND,
SD,
WY, and NE which are usually sparse. 80 meters wasn't really needed because
all the local sections called in on 40 meters.  Still a fun contest.  73,
