Comments:

Saturday was a boring day, just grinding out contacts.  Great sunny, warm
weather, though.  Started at Summit House Fullerton for DM13.  In the past, I
have had the parking lot all to myself, because they don't open until 5PM.
This time was different - they had a wedding or anniversary party at noon, and
the cars filled in around me.   Then went to Monterey Park, where I decided my
site is good for the summer contests (view to north and east), but not so good
for locals.  Might consider switching to Pasadena location in a year, when they
have recovered from the fires.
Signal Hill on Sunday was fantastic.  Nice surprise to have a opening to Texas
where I worked a half dozen grids.  Then finished contest at Pantera Elementary
in Diamond Bar.
I sent out more emails this time, and I think it sparked a lot of local
activity. I want to thank everyone who got on, including SCCC members  I think
30% of my emails got stopped by spam filters, though.
Kudos to the local SOTA group for getting a lot of local peaks on the air! They
are doing a 2m SSB challenge, and they generated a LOT of activity. Thank you!
They kept me on my toes, asking for 6 digit grids.  No problem!
