Greetings All,

Although I have been taking part in contests for many years, I always resisted using a logger until this year. After I studied several of the programs I settled for SD and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Paul and all of you who put up suggestions from time to time.

One thing that we have in VK/ZL that does not apply in Europe is distances. This means that several of our contests allow for repeat contacts after a nominated time - usually two hours, sometimes only one.

One of the things that I like about SD is the variables. These can accommodate local variations, but I do not see such availability in other loggers.

It was sad to see some negative comments earlier in the week, but this reminds us that we all have different ways of looking at situations - provided that we have done things correctly in the first place.

I don't know how widespread would be the use of SD in Oceania, but I suspect not as much as the other two. However, I take every opportunity to let it be known the versatility of this program.

Good luck to you all and keep up the good work with SD.
