The Marconi Centenary Contest celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the
reception by Marconi, on the morning (in Canada) of 12th December 1901, of
the letter "S" in Morse code transmitted from Poldhu in Cornwall.
The contest is an integral part of the RAC Winter contest, and is confined
to Canadian and UK contesters. All contesters, however, may take part in
the RAC Winter contest. It is mixed-mode only - there are no single mode
classes.
The contest takes place from 0000 to 2359 UTC on 29th December 2001. You can

Select Type 10 - General, Country & Area Multipliers.

SD will automatically score Canadian RAC official stations at 20 points.
After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your .LOG and .SUM files. Complete
your .SUM file with an editor, then rename these files as YOURCALL.LOG and
YOURCALL.SUM where YOURCALL is the call used during the contest. Email
them, as attached files, to VE7CFD@rac.ca, by 31st January 2002.
