[SD-User] Program Lockup

I am a new user of SD and during the RSGB 21/28 contest the program
locked up.
In trying to redisplay the log contents I was prevented from doing so
and received the following message:

    Cannot create 2128CW(my file) - your disk is write protected

In reviewing the SD files I do have and am able to print out the
2128CW.ALL file in Notepad but how can I recover the actual log,
assuming I wished to continue the contest.
As the contest was now over I then attempted to use SDCHECK but the
program indicated that 2128CW.ALL "could not be found".
Obviously I need to correct the program with the lockup first before
proceeding with the "After The Contest" routines, but I am at a loss how
to go about reconstructing the actual log.

Can someone give a clue as to where I should start?
