This contest takes place from 0500 UTC to 0859 UTC (4 hours) on
Saturday 20th April. It's 40 and 80 metres only, and has CW, SSB
and Mixed sections. You can see the full rules at
http://www.erau.ee/modules.php?op=modload&name=Info&file=index&req
=viewarticle&artid=64

You work Estonian stations only (Estonians work everyone including
ES), and the interesting thing is that you can work the same
stations in each of the 4 one-hour periods. Multipliers are
Estonian prefixes on each band (ES0 - ES9) - a maximum of 20 for
single-mode, or 40 for mixed-mode.

SD is probably the ONLY contest logger to support all aspects of
this contest. Here's how you get started. (you'll need to
download ESTONIA.CTY from www.ei5di.com/sd/estonia.cty)

Select SD Type 9 - General, Area Multipliers
.CTY File : ESTONIA
Multipliers Count : B (by band)
Points per QSO : 1 (for SSB Only)
                  : 2 (for CW Only
                  : 0 (variable - for Mixed Mode)
Pts/Bonus : 0 (multipliers)
Single/Multi Op : S or M (your choice)
Next Page : Y
_______________________________________
These questions apply to Mixed-Mode only

Points vary by mode : Y
            by band : N
        by location : N
Points CW : 2
Points SSB : 1
_______________________________________

Mode : CW or SSB (your mode now)
Mixed-Mode : Y or N
If Mixed -
  Mults count on
    both modes : Y
  Work same stn
    on both modes : Y

Now, here's the neat bit. SD has, as standard, a SETDUPE command
to reset dupe checking, as otherwise QSOs with stations logged in
previous hours will be logged as dupes. Therefore, use SETDUPE at
0600, 0700 and 0800, and not at any other times. This way, you
can log the same station, on both CW or SSB, up to 4 times (once
in each hour of the contest).

Use SDCHECK, after the contest, to create your .LOG and .SUM
files. Complete the .SUM file with a text editor (Notepad),
rename the files to YOURCALL.LOG and YOURCALL.SUM and send them to
esopen@erau.ee.
