SD supports this contest fully for EU entrants, including
recording of QTCs. For non-EU stations, transmission of QTCs is
not supported. The contest place from 0000 UTC Saturday 10th
August to 2359 UTC Sunday 11th August. Single Op entrants may
operate for a maximum of 36 hours, with no more than 3 "off"
periods. Full rules at http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/xedcwr.htm

Select SD Type 9 - General, Country Multipliers.
CTY File : WAE
Mults Count : B (by band)
Points per QSO : 1
Pts/Bonus : 0 (multipliers)
Single/Multi Op : S/M
Next Page : Y
Mode : CW
Mixed-mode : N

Exchange RST + Serial. If the station you work does not send a
serial, enter 0. EU stations work DX only, and DX stations work
EU only. The logged callsign will turn red if you try to enter an
inappropriate station - an SD exclusive!

Multipliers correspond to the entries in WAE.CTY - with W, VE, VK,
ZS, JA, PY and RA8-0 counting separately. In addition, multipliers
are weighted by band - multiplied by 4 on 80m, 3 on 40m and 2 on
other bands (10, 15 and 20 - 160m is not used in WAE). SD tracks
your total multipliers in real-time while logging and editing -
another SD exclusive!

Enter QTC on the logging line to record QTCs. Each QTC received
is equivalent, in points, to an additional QSO, and you can
receive up to 10 from any one station - not necessarily all at the
same time. As you type callsigns, SD displays your needed quota
from each station - in real time above the callsign - another SD
exclusive!

If you're not familiar with QTCs, you'll find all the information
in the rules at http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/xedcwr.htm.

After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your .LOG and .SUM files,
and use SDQTC to create your formatted .QTC file. Send the 3
files, attached to an email to waedc@darc.de by 15th September.
