This is something I've mentioned before.
I can only assume that this would entail a radical change in the way the
software is written? (I'm not a software bod)

SD(v) is no doubt the best that's out there for what contesters do. But
when you look at the likes of VQlog (running over M$ Access) you realise
that perhaps SD is a little dated.

Don't get me wrong, I like SD, but time is moving on, and so is
computing power... 
I run SDV on my laptop, a P3, 933 with over 300mb of ram.
Log checking after the event takes place on my desk top, a dual P3 933
machine running with a GB of ram. Perhaps this is a bit over the top for
a DOS programme designed for 640k ??

SD and SDV have a loyal band of followers (myself included) but I wonder
what would happen if EA6VQ released a contest version of his logging
programme?
