[SD-User] SD with IC7000

Struggling with rig control. Have opened IC706 file after renaming it IC7000 in notepad.  Changed first three characters of Record 2 (ie line 2) to 070. I then restarted and tried to get rig control with SDX - no result. Rig control is working fine with two other programmes. Suggestions please? Is IC706 the best ICOM file to start from. I am no IT genius so probably missed something really stupid. Helpful comments welcome please. Nick G3RWF
