The EU Sprint takes place from 16:00 to 19:59 UTC on
Saturday 11th October. It is CW-only on 80, 40 & 20m.

Rules at http://www.eusprint.com/index.php?page=140&lang=g

SD supports the Sprint. V14.11 is free from www.ei5di.com.
It runs on Windows and Linux/Wine.

   Select the "EU Sprint" template.
Enter the Mode as CW, and your Name for the exchange.

EU entrants: Work everyone on 80, 40 & 20m.
DX entrants: Work EU only.

Exchange Serial & Name & both callsigns.

Enter the Serial and Name as a single field - with no spaces.
For example: SD logs "2FRED" as "002 FRED".

SD supports ESM (Enter Sends Message). The correct exchange,
depending on the mode (RUN or S&P), is hard-coded so that
you don't need to change the F2 message contents.

With ESM, SD changes the mode as you log each QSO. If it's
not appropriate, or you get into trouble, switch ESM Off
with Apostrophe. You can change mode with the Grave Accent
key (above Tab).

With rig-control enabled, SD prompts you to move at least
2 kHz after QSOs - see the Rules for full details.

After the contest, use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo
.LOG file. Email it within 15 days, as an attached file,
to eusprint at kkn.net.

Please mention SD in your soapbox comments.

73,
Paul EI5DI
