The EU Sprint takes place from 16:00 to 19:59 UTC on
Saturday 11th April. It is Single-OP, CW-only on 80,
40 & 20m - with HP and LP (100w) sections.
Rules at http://www.eusprint.com/index.php?page=140&lang=g
SD supports the Sprint. V14.25 runs on Windows, on
Linux/Wine, and on Apple Mac with Bootcamp or Parallels.
It is free from www.ei5di.com.
Select the "EU Sprint" template.
Enter the Mode as CW, and your Name for the exchange.
EU entrants: Work everyone on 80, 40 & 20m.
DX entrants: Work EU only.
Exchange Serial & Name & both callsigns.
SD supports ESM, Enter Sends Message, in both Run and S&P
modes. The correct exchange is hard-coded for each mode
- no need to edit your F2 message contents.
The fastest way to log the exchange received, Serial and
Name, is by typing it as a single field - with no spaces.
For example: SD logs "2FRED" as "002 FRED".
If you load a .LST callsign/name file with the LOAD command,
SD autofills the Name on a callsign match. If what you hear
is different, overtype with the correct name.
Use SDCHECK to create your Cabrillo .LOG file, and send it
to eusprint at kkn.net.
Please mention SD in your soapbox comments, as this
encourages others to try it.

Paul EI5DI
