Just a quickie to say that this operator at least likes, and intensively uses, the "partial check with fullstop" feature!
But have never tried the auto insert feature - will do so.

It's working here in V14.17, so this may be a keyboard
issue.
Please run SD, and use the SHOW command. Type any letter,
then press Esc. In the Score window I see
SD Sees Non-Print
Length 1
ASCII Value 27
Scan Code 1
Code Page 850
Let me know if you have different parameters.

Some people didn't like this feature, and I removed it.
Perhaps I will restore it, because I believe very few
users now know about, or use, the full stop feature for
partial call suffixes.
Please try the auto-insert feature - toggled with the AI
command. This applies only to OVR mode in the callsign
field, where keystrokes overwrite the character at the
cursor position. With AI enabled, when you move to the
beginning of the callsign field, the mode temporarily
switches to Insert. I use this at all times.
