Quin.
Exactly the same here. Restarting the program during the contest didn't do
anything to correct it. This was 14.23 running on XP, no keying line
connected to PC. Glad I was only giving a few points out.

Subject: [SD-User] ODDITY LAST NIGHT!
I had an interesting oddity occur with SD in the RSGB 80m CC last night. In
fact I had this happen once before - and I'm 95% sure it was in the 80m CC
that time too.
What happened was then, on hitting the ENTER key after entering a callsign,
the cursor (correctly) moved to the incoming serial field. But instead of
this field being blank, it contained a serial number - and I am almost
certain that it was a serial received in a previous QSO, rather than just a
totally random number. This could be cleared easily using the back space key
but was a bit tedious! I did try to see if there was any pattern in the
spurious serial numbers but couldn't discern any. Anybody seen this before,
or can advise what I'm doing wrong?! The setup was SD v14.23 used with Vista
and WK USB.
I've tried to provoke SDC to do the same but haven't managed to get it to do
so. That's probably just as well, as Steve G3UFY and I are using this set up
for GB5CC in BERU this weekend, and any recurrence might be an embarrassment
!
Anyhow, any input from the collected brainpower on this list would be
welcome......

Quin G3WRR
