Another option is to edit the template for IRTS CW Field
day, change the mode to SSB and start a new log.

Tried that...would not work, it still comes up with RST above the log
and CW below entry line.

How long has the option to press 'esc' in the contest selection page
been removed, so one could choose the 'type'?
