[SD-User] Winkey oddity

I have an 'oddity' with my winkey, wonder if anyone has seen similar symptoms.

Winkeyer connected to SD as usual. SD is seeing speed changes in the winkey unit. Straight key pass-through works fine and keys the rig. What has recently changed (after flight to current QTH) is that 
1. SD's keyer messages are not being transmitted, and 
2. internal winkey sending functions with wktest (dots, dashes, random characters) don't key the rig. 

Any suggestions
