[SD-User] ESM behavior

I'm using v 17.04.  In the ESM/S&P mode with the
a call in the call field, the cursor in an empty 
exchange field, and the word MYCALL displayed as
the CW message that will be sent when the ENTER
key is struck, the exchange is sent instead and
the QSO is logged with the exchange empty.  This
behavior seems to occur only in QSO parties.  In
other contests under the conditions described
above, the MYCALL message is sent as expected.
Am I missing something?
