V17.43 3 September 2014

You'll need this version for the TRC DX Contest.

LST_FILE Template Parameter:
It is used to indicate a .LST callsign reference
file to be loaded for a specific contest. This
is in addition to whatever .LST file, if any, is
loaded each time SD is run - according to the
     SD.INI LOAD parameter.

     Previously, the loading of contest-specific
     .LST files was hard-coded.

Ctrl Keys for CW Mode:
In V17.33, the ability to use either Ctrl key
to toggle between logging and keyboard mode
was removed (from Left Ctrl) due to the fact
that the PowerBASIC compiler did not distinguish
between Left Ctrl and Alt Gr - this caused
     problems with certain non-UK/US keyboards.

Left Ctrl is a better option, because it's
easier to find, and it has been reinstated as
the default option. To disable Left Ctrl,
change the value of SD_LEFTCTRL to zero in
     your SD.INI file.

TRC DX Contest:
Fixed screen formatting errors for both
     logging and editing.

SD is free from ei5di.com - please encourage other
contesters to try it. One option that works well
is to leave a few words of support at eham.net.

You can see the reviews at
http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/522

To add your own, follow the "add your own review"
link immediately above the most recent review. You
may need to register with eHam to do this.

The simplest way to download or update SD is to
click on the "SD by EI5DI" logo at ei5di.com.

When you install a new version of SD, you may have
to adjust the size of the default window to fill
your screen. If necessary, do this for both SD and
SDCHECK.

Click on the title bar, or the SD icon, at the top
LHS of the window and select Properties, then Font.
If you have a widescreen (16:9) monitor, select the
Lucida Console font. For a 4:3 monitor, select the
Consolas font (not available on XP). Then choose
whatever size of font you prefer. SD's window
expands or contracts in direct proportion to the
chosen font size.

If you find bugs in V17.43, please send me the
details - pokane at ei5di dot com. Older versions
are not supported, so please confirm that the
problem exists in V17.43.

Please let me have your suggestions for changes
or additions, or support for new contests.

73,
Paul EI5DI
