If you don't like waiting for an invitation from
Microsoft to download Windows 10, you can get it
directly from

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

I did this yesterday to move from Windows 8.1
without problems.

SD runs as normal.  However, if the font size causes
SD's window to be too big for your screen, the on-screen
formatting is disturbed.  It's easily fixed by adjusting
the font size.

A reminder that you can do this by clicking on the
SD icon at the top LHS of SD's window, select
Properties, then Font.  Select the "Lucida Console"
option and then experiment with Size.
