Dupes:
When entering callsign characters, it can be useful
to know instantly, as each character is typed, that
the full call can NOT be a dupe - without the need
to complete the call, or to look away from the callsign
field.
A small square, showing above the first character of
the callsign, indicates that the full call might be
a dupe. Once the square disappears, or if it does
not appear, the full call will not be a dupe.
This works for either prefix or suffix checking, in
combination with SD's Check Partial Function. Use
full stop or comma in the callsign field to switch
between prefix and suffix checking.
Note: single characters in in the callsign field are
ignored - checking starts with the second character.
List (.LST) Files:
On a callsign match, the relevant information is
shown below the callsign, and is cleared (or updated)
with any change in the callsign. Previously, it
wasn't always cleared.
SCHECK:
At startup, and when creating Cabrillo logs, SDCHECK
now displays the actual QSO total. Previously, only
a running total was shown for every 20 QSOs loaded
or written to the log file.

Let me know if you need support for other contests.
When you install a new version of SD, or when you
change to Windows 10, you may have to adjust the
size of the default window to fill your screen.
If necessary, do this for both SD and SDCHECK.
Click on the SD icon, at the top LHS of SD's window
and select Properties, then Font. If you have use
a widescreen (16:9) monitor, select the Lucida Console
font. For a 4:3 monitor, select the Consolas font
(not available on XP). Then choose whatever size of
font you prefer. SD's window expands or contracts in
direct proportion to the chosen font size.
If you find bugs in V18.09, send the details to
sduser at contesting.com. Older versions are not
supported, so please confirm that the problem
exists in V18.09.

Paul EI5DI
