[SD-User] SD help needed!

Hello all,

I'm trying to get the SD software to work in conjunction with my newly-purchased
Winkeyer, in an effort to use both in the upcoming Scandinavian Activity Contest -
nothing like waiting until the last minute to get ready (hi!).

The rig that I am using is an early model Yaesu FT-1000MP. The Winkeyer works FB
in a "standalone" mode (using it as an electronic keyer). This morning, I tried to
load a sample contest that I called "SAC DEMO" and I entered 18 sample QSOs.

The SD software would not key the rig and after using the SD program, I asked
for a "text file" to be exported, which I looked at. All of the QSO information was
present EXCEPT for the exact frequencies of the QSOs.

The only reason why I even want to have the SD software "control" the radio is
because the SAC rules state that the "top three" entrants need to furnish the exact
frequencies of the QSOs.

I am using a normal serial cable to connect the "CAT connector" on the back of the
FT-1000MP with the serial port on the computer. I made sure that all of the
parameters in the SD software agree with the FT-1000MP parameters but apparently
there is something (or more than one thing) wrong with my set-up.
