[SECC] CQ WPX CW Contest

Hi Guys:  Don't forget this is the weekend for the CQ WW WPX Contest on
CW.  Single ops run no more than 36 hours.  All sorts of categories
including my category of tribander/single element, plus rookie, plus
band restricted.  Remember that there is a club competition.  The winner
gets a plaque or trophy and all clubs get recognition.  So, please send
in your score to credit South East Contest Club (SECC) even if it is
small.

We should keep in mind in case there are any future WRTC events that the
USA clubs with the most points reported in major contests in the
preceding years have been given the opportunity to name a USA team
captain.  SEDXC got to do that based on its scores in the years prior to
the 1996 effort in San Francisco.  SECC can be in the list the next time
if we all operate to the extent that we have time and all send in our
scores.

Hope everyone has a good time and a good weekend.  It is great for some
of us to have a holiday the next day after a contest.

If anyone has any special calls to watch out for, please let us know who
you are.  (W4AN?)  Remember that US to US (and any other same country)
QSOs now count one point, so everyone can work everyone else for points
and multipliers.  Multipliers are counted only once per contest, not per
band.  Listen up in the General class bands for folks like me.
