Hi Guys: Here is my claimed preliminary score for the 8P9Z operation
last weekend. For comparison, my 1998 North American record score was
just over 6500 QSOs and 10.4 M. After log checking, it was just a tiny
bit under 10 M.
But that year the computer would send CW. This year, my two interfaces
wouldn't work and I had to send all those 7000 (including duplicates)
calls by hand at least once. I did have a memory keyer that would send
CQ, 5998, and TU 8P9Z, but the buttons were not as convenient as the F
keys (and the + key) on a keyboard. Oh well, maybe before next trip I
can get one of you guys to help me out and see what went wrong.
