This reminds me of one of my more embarassing experiences.  Back in the old 
Dixie DX'ers days, Rick was having an open house for that group. He said to 
come at 1600.  Not having a military or aeronautical background, I was not 
used to hearing 24 hour time used except in reference to Zulu time.  To make 
a long story short, AA4GA and I arrived 4 hours early.
