Gordon:  If you are going to use your rig at NQ4I, there are some mods
that W4DD has done to the NQ4I FT1000MPs that you might want to
consider.  One is a "white noise" mod.  One is an AGC mod.  And another
is a keying mod to reduce the key clicks that the unmodified MP has.

I think the mods can be found on some FT1000MP page of some kind or
maybe on International Radio (W2VJN).  I think George sells the parts
for the mods except for the keying.  The keying mod is explained on a
W8JI page somewhere.
