Hello all:

Weesie and I had a social engagement on Saturday night. I was QRT from
2318Z to 0249Z. So, it was about 8 1/3 hours of operation. I had a lot
of power line noise during the day that wiped out most of the scatter
signals on the high bands. It seemed to me that 10 and 15 were pretty
poor to the west coast. There were a few Canadians, New England, and
Wisconsin signals on 10 and 15. KH6ND was loud on 10 and 15 and VY1JA
had a good signal on 10. I worked N3HXQ/KL7 on 10. VP5AZ was worked on
20 and 40, NP4A on 160, and XE2MX on a couple of bands. Thanks to K4NO,
W4WA, AA4LR, and W2JJC for QSOs. I heard, called, and could not work
K4WI and K4SB. K4OGG and WB4SQ beat me to a lot of stations on the
higher bands. I heard someone working W4NTI on 20, but Dan was skipping
me. I had to turn the beam SE to work K4NO on a QSY to 20 from 40. 160
was pretty good for SSB and poor antenna, but was usable to raise N2IC
and AA0RS in Colorado, both of whom had good signals. Sorry I didn't
make a better score for SECC #1. Congrats to all for FB scores and
efforts.

160 36 16
 80 13 10 (no one working above 3850)
 40 63 34
 20 133 37
 15 101 33
 10 54 23
ALL 400 153 = 61,200.

FT1000MP, 100 watts, TH6DXX, dipole, inverted vee, end fed wire.

73,

John, K4BAI.
